Martyna Zienkiewicz is the visionary founder of the Language Surfing project. After years of enriching lives through cultural experiences in Barcelona, she made her way to Valencia in 2020. There, she developed an inspiring teaching program that spans the vibrant city and the charming seaside village of Cullera. With her extensive knowledge of Parque Nacional de la Albufera, local economies, and cultural nuances, Martyna is your perfect guide to mastering Spanish in a truly immersive environment.
A Passion for Language and Culture
As a Spanish philologist and journalist, Martyna has devoted her life to exploring the richness of Spanish and Latin American cultures. Her professional journey has taken her across various media in both Spain and Poland, as well as on solo adventures through Colombia, Mexico, Uruguay, and Argentina. She brings this wealth of experience into every lesson, making language learning a captivating journey.
Beyond the Classroom
Martyna is also a talented podcaster with a Master’s in Podcasting and Digital Audio. Music, especially Spanish and Latin American, fuels her creativity. Whether strumming her guitar or sharing melodies, she believes in the power of music to enhance learning.
A Love for Valencia
Now residing in a picturesque village by the sea, just a stone's throw from Parque Nacional de la Albufera, Martyna has created an idyllic space for language immersion. Since 2014, she has been crafting engaging materials for outdoor Spanish classes, believing wholeheartedly that "we learn much better and faster surrounded by real-life stimuli—sounds, smells, flavors, mindful observation, and emotions."
