What is Cullera Experience?
Cullera Experience is a recurring, small‑group language and culinary experience that combines:
Spanish learning and conversation
traditional Valencian cuisine
culture and real‑life interaction
It’s a 5‑hour guided Spanish class in real life, not in a classroom – using food, markets and conversation as the learning environment.
Learn Spanish through life, food and conversation
Led by Martyna Zienkiewicz, Spanish teacher, journalist and creator of the Language Surfing method, this experience combines Spanish, culture and real-life interaction. Living in Spain, Martyna specializes in teaching Spanish through conversation, everyday moments and local culture—turning the market, the kitchen and the shared table into a natural learning space. The culinary experience is co-created with Carlos Talens, a local from Cullera who hosts the group in his private home and prepares paella the way locals do for friends. This is not a cooking workshop with some Spanish. It is a Spanish class lived through food, conversation and local life.
We start at the local market, buying fresh ingredients and immediately working with the language. You receive vocabulary cards, and all interaction is guided in Spanish and (English or Polish if needed), adapted to the group.

Traditional empanadillas, local cheese and D.O. Valencia white wine. A moment for:

3. Cooking paella
Together we prepare a traditional paella using rice from La Ribera. You learn:
culinary vocabulary
real‑life Spanish
local culture and habits
4. Dessert & culture
Tasting arnadí and blood orange, combined with stories about Cullera and local life.
5. Cremaet & closing
Cremaet and relaxed conversation to close the experience.
